The episode begins with…
…Shoko trashing the grocery store like a little kid! I’m pretty sure her parents would approve of this, even if her dad is the prime minister. Anyway, one week has passed since Module 77’s declaration of independence, which Haruto admits was all too easy.
Actually, there are a few adults around; I suppose to keep things from falling into anarchy. There’s Takumi Kibukawa (The professor who was presumed dead along with Shoko), who seems to know some things about the Valvrave and the people who designed it. And there’s Rion Nanami (The busty teacher). Anyway, things go wrong as the Module’s power systems overloads and shuts off, causing an endless winter. In order to get things back to normal, they have to reset the environment control system.
So while Otomaya and Raizo Yamada (The school delinquent who tried to stand against Senator Figaro in the previous episode, only to get shot in the shoulder) get to the control panel, the other students are nearly freezing to death and starts pointing fingers towards Shoko for getting them into this mess. Rukino steps in to add that they went along with it, which causes much infighting…
…and biting amongst the students.
So Haruto tries to put a stop to students’ outrage against each other to no avail and in case you haven’t already noticed by now this show isn’t even trying to be serious at this point…
Yeah, that happens. Anyway, Otomaya and Yamada manages to get the control system back up and crisis is averted. Also Haruto accidentally reveals that Takahi Ninomiya (one of the student council) doesn’t apparently wear panties.
So the students decide to inform their parents of their safety with… a music video. No, seriously. A goddamn music video!
So while Haruto and Rukino is looking around outside the Module in the Valvrave, they descend into the lowest levels and discover five other Valvraves. Haruto and Rukino decide to keep this a secret to prevent more people turning out like Haruto did, and they seal the deal with a kiss.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m laughing so hard at this show right now. I’m sure Sunrise is doing this on purpose. It’s not what I expected, but it’s shows like these that make the jokes for me.
