OK, I got some unfinished business to do, especially considering Season 2 is around the corner… So, let me finish Season 1 first.
The episode begins with Ryuji Sashinami, Old JIOR Prime Minister and Shoko’s dad, ordered to be executed by Dorssia for approving the secret development of the Valvraves. Meanwhile, Module 77 is still traveling to the moon, where they’ll be safe from anymore attacks since it’s neutral territory.
Haruto sees some… rather peculiar advertising, which only serves to remind him of his, um… unfortunate sexual situation with Saki (I’m trying to avoid using the R-word here). Anyway, he meets up with Saki to talk about what happened between them. But she won’t let him apologize…
Anyway, Thunder is test-piloting his Valvrave III, which he calls “Nobu-Lightning,” because calling it “Unit 3” is lame. Professor Kibukawa is working on a coolant to let the Valvraves fight without overheating. Meanwhile, the student body is holding a party to congratulate Shoko’s election to Prime Minister. She invites Akira to join, but asking a hikikomori to come out of her hiding spot is a very bad idea.
Anyway, back to Haruto and Saki… While they’re watching one of her old movies she starred in two years prior, a massive Dorssian fleet show up as the only thing separating Module 77 from the moon. The module goes in reverse as the Dorssian fleet pursues them. As L-Elf calculated, the enemy fleet has broken formation and pursuing the module in a straight line, which is perfect for Haruto’s Valvrave’s Harakiri Blade to wipe out most of them.
The Dorssian Rear Admiral Delian Wartenburg requests to have a private channel with Shoko. He reveals her father is in one of the ships meant to be destroyed by the Harakiri Blade, and offers Shoko a choice: Abandon the Valvraves and the citizens of JIOR or her father dies. Shoko’s dad tells her not to give in to their demands, while the Harakiri Blade charges up and wipes out three-fourths of the fleet, Haruto being unaware that Shoko’s dad was among them.
However, there’s one thing L-Elf didn’t factor in: Cain piloting an Ideal, armed with a drill that will pierce the heavens, er… module. Haruto heads back to the module to deal with the invading Dorssians and rescue Shoko. However, Haruto asks Saki to marry him after the battle’s end.
