A-1 Pictures has been on a real rollercoaster of quality anime in the past couple years, I tell you what. tsuritama was pretty good, horrible doesn’t even begin to describe Sword Art Online, From the New World was great, Oreimo S2 was complete shit, Silver Spoon was pretty decent, then we went back to Sword Art Online, and now we’re back to Silver Spoon, and then (assuming nothing else comes in between now and later this year) Sword Art Online again. I don’t know about you guys, but I hate riding rollercoasters and I want off immediately!

Anyhoo, continuing where the Summer 2012 anime left off, Silver Spoon (Gin no Saji), adapted from Hiromu Arakawa’s manga, continues the Ezoono Agricultural High School misadventures of Yugo Hachiken and his friends. Things will probably look up for Hachiken as he manages to find a horseshoe from a horse, which is said to bring good luck.

Well, not much to say since this is basically a second part of a split-cour anime, but nothing much has changed since then, which is a good think. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
