Space Patrol Luluco // First Impressions

Screenshot - 4_1_2016 , 3_47_44 PMIt’s finally Spring, which means the good stuff is finally getting here. No more stressfulness from a subpar Winter. Anyhoo, the Spring anime season begins with a 7-minute short anime.

Space Patrol Luluco, a Studio Trigger original, follows Luluco, a junior high school girl living in Ogikubo, a town that, much to her dismay, acts as a Space Immigration Zone where humans and aliens co-exist. Her father is a member of the town’s Space Patrol division. One morning, her father accidentally freezes himself solid with instant cold-sleep capsules. The chief director the Ogikubo Space Patrol, Over Justice, enlists Luluco into the Space Patrol to defrost her father and to protect Ogikubo from space criminals.

As Ninja Slayer mildly entertained me, it was obvious I didn’t watch it for the visuals. Fortunately, Luluco is fully animated. Well, as animated as Imashi can get. Aside from that, I got a good laugh out of it, so Luluco‘s done its job.
